DIR 2018 / Detection of TDS in Water
DIR (Designers-in-Residence) is a six-week fellowship at Makeistan which happens every year where Designers and Engineers collaborate and make a Product with focus on problems like development related challenges. In first two weeks I learned Sketching, Design Thinking, Rapid Prototyping, Product Design and how to identify a problem before making a Product. In third week, fellows were teamed up. In my team there was a Designer with major in Visual Communication from BNU (Beaconhouse National University, Lahore) and Bio Scientist from CMU (Carnegie Mellon University, Qatar) and I as Electrical Engineer from ITU (Information Technology University, Lahore, Punjab).
As our team had an Bio Scientist, so we deiced to work on health related problem. Eventually we decided to work on Detection of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in Drinking Water.*
More details coming soon on this project or feel free to reach out to me at: [email protected] or +92 335 9756136
